Popular In-Stock Colours
Choose from four Crystalite® ColourGuard finishes. Seven additional colours from the Aqua Technics range are available by custom order. Lighter colours can make pools appear larger. Deeper colours increase reflectivity and sparkle.

Hamptons Blue
Coastal blue with a soft, white-speckled finish. Produces a bright, clear blue water colour.

Silver Mist
A light, neutral finish that can make the pool appear larger. This option works with any home style and is our most popular choice.

Autumn Grey
A multi-tonal grey speckled finish with warm and cool tones. Water appears deep teal.

Moonlight
Dark, reflective gelcoat. Produces a dark water appearance with strong sparkle in sunlight.
Custom-order colours
ColourGuard finishes are available on request for any MFP Easy pool. They include ColourGuard protection and the Lifetime Surface Guarantee.

Compare pool colours side by side
Select a colour, then drag the slider to compare finishes in the same Brisbane pool and afternoon light.

Tap a colour to load it on the right side; drag the divider to compare. Colour previews are digital renders of the same photographed pool — the gelcoat swatch on each chip is the real material.
How light, depth and landscaping change your pool colour
A gelcoat sample card shows the material, not the finished pool. Four things in your yard change how the same colour reads once the pool is in the ground and full of water.
Sunlight and shade
Direct sun brightens the water and lifts the colour. Shade from trees, fences, or the house makes the same finish appear darker and greener. The colour changes through the day as the sun moves across the pool.
Pool depth
Colour deepens with water depth. A shallow ledge or step reads lighter than the deep end of the same pool. Light finishes keep the floor visible at full depth, which also makes swimmers easier to see.
Landscaping and surrounds
Paving, coping, and decking reflect into the water. Light paving pushes the water towards blue and turquoise. Dark decking and dense planting make blues and greys appear deeper.
Water features
Moving water from a blade, spillway, or jets breaks the surface and adds white sparkle over any colour. LED pool lighting changes the tone again at night, especially over dark finishes.
Dark or light pool colour?
The gelcoat colour affects how the water itself looks when the pool is full. Light colours make the pool look larger and brighter. Dark colours make the surface more reflective and give the water a deeper tone. The gelcoat is chosen at order time and cannot be changed after manufacture.

Light colours: Silver Mist, Platinum, Hamptons Blue, Horizon
- Light-coloured floors reflect more light through the water, making the pool appear larger.
- Water appears bright blue to ice-blue allowing the pool floor to remain visible at full depth.
- These colours suit pale paving and coastal or Hamptons-style homes.

Dark colours: Moonlight, Delta Blue, Graphite, Twilight
- Dark floors reflect the sky, trees, and lighting and look striking at night when illuminated with LED pool lighting.
- Water appears deep blue to slate while sunlight increases sparkle.
- Dark interiors absorb more sunlight and can slightly increase water temperature on sunny days.
Why our colours don't fade
Most fibreglass pools begin to fade within five years. Aqua Technics pools are designed to retain their colour and include a lifetime guarantee.
Patented Dual-Coat System
During manufacturing, a clear protective layer is fused over the colour layer. This protects the colour from direct exposure to UV and pool chemicals. Most fibreglass pools use a single coat, leaving the colour exposed to both.
UV-Stable Pigments
The colour molecules are designed and tested to resist fading in Australian sunlight.
Chemical-Resistant Surface
Chlorine, salt, and minerals affect the clear outer layer instead of the colour layer. This helps the pool retain its colour under normal pool chemistry.
Lifetime Surface Guarantee
Aqua Technics' Lifetime Interior Surface Guarantee covers osmotic blistering and excessive fading under normal use.
ColourGuard® is one of six engineered layers
The pool uses Aqua Technics' patented 6-layer protection system. It includes a graphene nano-tech composite shell, Easy Build interior, and ceramic outer membrane. The system is designed to last for decades.

What is the best colour for a fibreglass pool?
There is no single best pool colour. Light finishes, such as Silver Mist and Platinum, make the pool appear larger and keep the water bright. Dark finishes, such as Moonlight, Delta Blue and Graphite, create darker, more reflective water. All finishes include the same ColourGuard protection and Lifetime Interior Surface Guarantee. The differences are visual, not structural.
What is the most popular fibreglass pool colour?
Silver Mist is the most commonly selected colour for our Brisbane installations. Its light, neutral tone makes the pool appear larger and suits most paving and home styles.
Do dark pool colours make the water warmer?
Dark interiors absorb more sunlight than pale interiors, so they may increase the water temperature slightly on sunny days. Heating equipment, pool covers and shade have a greater effect on water temperature than shell colour.
Do fibreglass pool colours fade?
Crystalite ColourGuard is a dual-layer gelcoat. During manufacturing, a clear, UV-resistant coat is fused over the colour layer. Chlorine, salt and sunlight affect the clear layer rather than the pigment. Aqua Technics' Lifetime Interior Surface Guarantee covers osmotic blistering and excessive fading under normal use.
Can I order a colour outside the four signature finishes?
Yes. The full Aqua Technics Crystalite range is available for any MFP Easy pool as a custom order. Available colours include Delta Blue, Graphite, Horizon, Platinum, Twilight, Aquamarine and Argyle Blue. Request a custom colour during your consultation.
