Fibreglass Pool Shells Other Builders Can't Match

Graphene Nano-Tech®

The strongest material known to man — 200x stronger than steel — infused directly into every shell. Invented and patented by Aqua Technics. Engineered for a 30+ year lifespan.

Pool ColourGuard®

The only dual-coat surface system in the industry. A clear protective layer seals your colour against UV and chemicals — so your pool stays vibrant for years. Like sunscreen for your pool.

Why fibreglass pools suit the Sunshine Coast

From Caloundra to Noosa, the Sunshine Coast is about as close to year-round swimming weather as Australia offers — and the lifestyle expects a pool to match. Fibreglass is the natural fit for how the Coast lives and builds:

  • In the water in days, not months. A fibreglass shell is craned in and swimmable within days of excavation. On the Coast that matters twice over: you're not racing storm season with an open concrete shell, and in the fast-growing estates around Aura, Baringa and Nirimba you're swimming before the landscaping trucks have left the street.
  • Built for salt air and serious UV. We install Aqua Technics shells exclusively — Graphene Nano-Tech® construction with a Pool ColourGuard® surface engineered against Queensland sun, backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty and Lifetime Interior Surface Guarantee. Coastal conditions are exactly what they're made for.
  • Less scrubbing in humid weather. The non-porous gelcoat surface gives algae nowhere to anchor, so a fibreglass pool typically needs roughly half the sanitiser and far less brushing than concrete — welcome news through a muggy Coast summer.
  • Your choice of water. Every pool runs happily as traditional chlorine, saltwater or a magnesium mineral pool — an option a growing number of Sunshine Coast families ask for by name.

What does a fibreglass pool cost on the Sunshine Coast?

We publish our pricing — installed, all-inclusive, with site conditions assessed at a free visit before you sign anything. As at 2026, fully-installed fibreglass pools on the Sunshine Coast run from about $45,000 for a plunge pool to $82,000 for an 11-metre pool, with most family pools landing between $58,000 and $70,000. That includes excavation, crane, premium filtration, mineral chlorinator, LED lighting, engineering, council approval fees and certification for a standard site.

See live installed pricing for every model — every pool in the range with its current price, updated as costs move. No "from" prices that evaporate at quote time.

Built for Sunshine Coast blocks

The Coast packs remarkably different ground conditions into a short drive, and we quote for all of them:

Coastal sand. Along the Caloundra–Noosa corridor — Pelican Waters, Buddina, Mooloolaba, Peregian, Sunshine Beach — the digging is usually easy, but sandy soils and a high water table need proper engineering and dewatering planning. It's routine work for our in-house crews, and it's assessed at the site visit, not discovered mid-dig.

Hinterland clay and rock. Head inland to Palmwoods, Nambour, Yandina or Eumundi and you trade sand for reactive clay and the occasional rock shelf. Clay movement is an engineering question we answer before contract; rock excavation is priced honestly if we find it, never hidden in a padded allowance.

Sloping blocks. Buderim's escarpment, the Maleny and Montville ridgelines, and half the streets in Mountain Creek and Aroona love a slope. Slopes usually mean some retaining, and on steeper falls a semi-inground installation — the shell partly raised out of the ground with a retaining wall and deck built to it — often costs less than carving a full bench into the hill, and earns you the view while it's at it.

Acreage and rural blocks. Doonan, Verrierdale, Cooroy and the hinterland acreage belt give us the easiest access we see anywhere in South East Queensland — and room for the biggest pools in the range.

Two councils, one handled process

The Sunshine Coast is split between Sunshine Coast Council and Noosa Shire Council, and their overlays and approval quirks differ — flood and coastal hazard mapping near the waterways, character and vegetation provisions in the Noosa hinterland. Every standard installation includes the compliance work for whichever council your block falls under: building approval, engineering certification, final inspection and registration on the QLD pool register. Queensland's pool barrier laws apply everywhere — minimum 1200mm fencing, self-closing gates, non-climbable zones — and we scope compliant fencing with you from day one so certification is a formality.

After 250+ installs a year across South East Queensland, the fibreglass pools Sunshine Coast families choose divide clearly by block type:

  • Beachside courtyards and duplexes (Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland, Sunshine Beach): the Terrace 3 — a 3m × 3m plunge pool from about $45,000 installed — or the slightly longer Infinity 4 and Serenity. Plunge pools are the Coast's fastest-growing category, and most land between $45,000 and $60,000 installed.
  • New estates (Aura, Baringa, Bells Reach): the Sovereign 5.0m or Portofino 5.5m from about $54,000 — real swimming sized for a modern lot.
  • The classic family backyard (Buderim, Sippy Downs, Tewantin, Pacific Paradise): the Empire 6.0m from about $58,000, or the full-width Avellino 6.0m × 4.0m when the whole family swims at once.
  • Acreage and entertainers (Doonan, Eumundi, hinterland): the Valentina 8.0m × 4.0m, the lap-friendly Sheffield 8.0m × 3.0m, or the flagship Kensington 11m — the biggest pool in the range, from about $82,000 installed.

Thirty models, four colours, all with live pricing published.

Heating: the hinterland's favourite add-on

The coastal strip swims comfortably from September to May, but Buderim sits 180 metres up and Maleny well beyond that — hinterland winter mornings bite, and pool water follows the air. A properly sized heat pump (from about $4,100 installed) paired with a thermal blanket turns an eight-month season into twelve, and with rooftop solar running it through the day the running cost is modest. Our pool heating cost guide breaks down what each option really costs to run; we'll size it honestly for your pool and postcode at quote time.

Why the Sunshine Coast chooses MFP Easy

  • Close enough to be local. Our Brendale HQ is around 45 minutes down the Bruce Highway from Caloundra — the Sunshine Coast is core service area, not an outer fringe we visit when it suits.
  • In-house installation crews — the same teams, week in week out, not subcontractors learning your block on the job.
  • SPASA QLD Best Fibreglass Pool Builder 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025, SPASA National Gold Winner 2025 and QLD Gold Winner 2026.
  • 4.7 stars across 263+ Google reviews from real South East Queensland customers.
  • Transparent, all-inclusive pricing — published installed prices, with site conditions priced at a free visit before contract, never mid-project.
  • 10–12 weeks from first chat to swimming, with the shell swimmable within days of craning in.

Book a free site assessment and we'll walk your block — sand, clay, slope or acreage — and give you a real installed price for the pool that fits it.

Sunshine Coast Pool Questions

The questions Sunshine Coast families ask us most.

All of it — coastal suburbs from Caloundra through Maroochydore to Noosa, the hinterland towns around Nambour, Palmwoods and Maleny, and south through Beerwah, Caboolture and Bribie Island. If you're unsure, call 1300 30 60 11 and we'll confirm.

Yes — sloping hinterland blocks are bread and butter for our crews. A one-piece engineered shell plus site-specific engineering and an engineered concrete bond beam handles slopes well, and we'll assess your block at a free site visit before you commit.

Yes — every Queensland pool needs building approval and a compliant safety barrier, whether you're under Sunshine Coast Council or Noosa Shire. We manage the approval process for you as a standard inclusion.

Typical lead time is around 4 weeks from contract. Because the shell arrives complete, the install moves fast — excavation, crane-in and filling usually happen within days.
