How to Choose Your Fibreglass Pool Design
Choose a moulded shell based on shape and size, then select the style around it. Available designs include compact round plunge pools, long lap pools, family rectangles, and deep entertaining pools. Each design is a fixed model that you can price today.
The 40 pool models are grouped by shape, depth and style. Select a design to view matching pools. Prices are current all-inclusive installation prices for standard site conditions in South East Queensland.
Round & circular pools
Our round pools are available in two models: the Infinity 3 and Infinity 4, with diameters of 3m and 4m. Both models have a bench seat built into the rim and a uniform depth of 1.45m.
A circular pool can fit into a corner or compact area where a rectangular pool may not. The curved wall can also integrate with surrounding plants, while the bench provides seating along the edge.
Aqua Technics certifies these as the only design-certified round fibreglass pools in the country. They meet the same engineering and council requirements as other pools we install.
Rectangular pools
Rectangular fibreglass pools have clean, parallel lines that suit modern homes. Their shape simplifies paving and fencing and makes efficient use of backyard space. Most of our pool range is rectangular, with options in different sizes.
Options include the 2.5m-wide Florentina and Harmony for side yards, the 6m Empire, the 8m Valentina, and the 9m Westminster. Each has a moulded rectangular shape with radiused corners, a shallow end, and a deep end.
T-shaped pools
Five pool shells use a moulded T shape. The crossbar provides a wide, shallow area for lounging, steps and play. The longer section extends to a deeper area for swimming.
T-shaped fibreglass pools range from the 6.5m Bellino to the 9m Amalfi, with the Imperial, Castello and Grandeur in between. The Amalfi has a depth of 2m at the deep end. Each pool is produced from a fixed mould, providing a factory finish without the construction time required for a concrete pool. Freeform and kidney-shaped pools require concrete construction because they are among the few kinds of swimming pools that are not available in fibreglass.
Lap pools
Our lap pools provide the longest uninterrupted swimming length. Fibreglass pools are not available in 25m lengths, so length is the main consideration. Longer, narrower models provide a more direct swimming path.
The Bellagio measures 7.5m × 2.5m and fits beside a house. For a longer lap pool with a deep end, choose the Sheffield (8m), Elysian (8.3m), or Kensington (11m).
Plunge pools
A plunge pool is a compact pool designed for cooling off, sitting, and soaking rather than swimming laps. It is suitable for courtyards, small blocks, and spaces beside decks where a full-size pool will not fit.
The Allure, Sovereign, and Portofino are rectangular plunge pools measuring 5–5.5m. The compact Latina and Verona models measure around 4.5m. These models are part of our small pool range. The round Infinity pools can also be used as plunge pools. The Bastia is a 3.2m × 2m spa that can be used as a standalone plunge pool.
Pools with a spa
A spa can be built alongside any pool model as a pool and spa combination. It can use the same paving, plumbing, and equipment. Choose a raised spillover or an in-line unit. We install the plumbing and wiring during the pool build.
For a standalone spa, the Bastia is a compact 3.2m × 2m unit that can also be used as a plunge pool on a small block.
Infinity & drop-edge pools
An infinity pool, also called a drop-edge pool, is an installation method rather than a pool model. On a sloping block, the pool is installed at the high point. The exposed downhill wall forms a raised edge and can be finished with a strip or fully clad. Any of our pool shells can use this installation method where the ground slopes away.
The exposed face uses an engineered drop-edge retaining wall. Once site levels are available, the wall is designed and priced with the pool rather than estimated afterward. This approach is suitable for backyards that slope away from the house.
Wide-step entry, benches & wading
Several of our pool shells have full-width entry steps. The Hayman, Bedarra and Terazza include steps across the shallow end, allowing you to walk into the pool without using a ladder.
Round Infinity pools include a bench seat around the rim. The shallowest sloped shells, such as the Serenity, start at around 1.1m. This allows toddlers to use the pool while adults can stand. A splash deck or submerged sun ledge can be included in the pool landscaping around the shell. It is designed and priced with the pool.

What shapes do fibreglass pools come in?
Fibreglass pools are moulded shells, so the shape is set at the factory. Our range covers three: rectangles with softened, radiused corners (the bulk of the models, from 5m to 11m), the round Infinity 3 and Infinity 4, and five T-shaped pools (the Bellino, Imperial, Castello, Grandeur and Amalfi). A true freeform or kidney shape is a concrete build, not fibreglass.
Do you make round fibreglass pools?
We install two round fibreglass plunge pools: the 3m Infinity 3 and the 4m Infinity 4. Both models have a bench seat built into the rim and a consistent depth of 1.45m. Aqua Technics builds them as Australia's only design-certified round fibreglass pool shells. They meet the same engineering and certification requirements as our rectangular pools.
Do you make T-shaped fibreglass pools?
The range includes five moulded T-shaped shells: the Bellino (6.5m), Imperial (7m), Castello (7.5m), Grandeur (8.25m), and Amalfi (9m). The crossbar provides a wider area for lounging and play, while the longer section provides deeper water for swimming. All other models are rectangular or round.
Can I add a spa to a fibreglass pool?
Yes — a spa sits alongside any of our pools as a raised or in-line combo, plumbed and wired during the build rather than bolted on later. Our Kensington and spa project in Booval pairs an 11m family pool with a spillover spa, quoted as one figure. How deep do your fibreglass pools go?
The Amalfi and Kensington are 2.0m deep at the deep end. The Sheffield is 1.96m deep. Round pools have a consistent depth of 1.45m. Compact plunge pools range from approximately 1.1m to 1.5m deep. They are suitable for wading, children, and cooling off.
